What we ask
The bar is low but it exists:
- You're ND or ND-led. Self-declared, no diagnosis-proof gauntlet. If you say you are, we believe you.
- Your stuff actually helps. No essential oils that "cure ADHD". No miracle supplements. No AI-generated workbooks.
- You can ship what you sell. Physical orders go out within your stated lead time. Digital downloads work. Services get delivered.
- You respond to customers. Within 48 hours, ideally. We get it, life happens, but ghosting isn't OK.
- You follow the listing rules and code of conduct. Quick reads, mostly common sense.
How it works
Review
We look at your stuff. Usually 3-5 days. Most applications are a yes. We'll ask questions if anything's unclear.
Onboard
We set you up in the vendor portal, help you connect Stripe for payouts, and walk you through your first listing.
List & sell
You add products. We promote new sellers in the journal and newsletter. Sales come in. Payouts twice a month.
Honest answers to the obvious questions
- Why 10%? Isn't that high?
- It's below Etsy (6.5% + listing fees + transaction fees + ads), below Amazon Handmade (15%), and roughly in line with Substack (10%). We pay for hosting, payment processing, buyer protection, support, and marketing out of that 10%. It's not a get-rich scheme on our side.
- Do I need to be a registered business?
- For UK sellers, no, but you'll need to handle your own tax reporting. Stripe sends you a 1099/payment summary at year end. We're not your accountant. If you're VAT-registered, let us know during onboarding.
- What if my product is also sold elsewhere?
- Totally fine. We're not exclusive. Cross-list to your heart's content.
- How does buyer protection actually work?
- Buyer pays. Money sits with our processor (Stripe). Once the buyer marks the order delivered (or after a default window for physical products), the 90% releases to you. If the buyer flags a problem, we mediate. Full details on the Buyer Protection page.
- What if I don't have professional product photos?
- Honestly, real photos of real stuff often outperform studio shots on this kind of marketplace. We have a quick guide. If you need help, we'll point you to ND-friendly photographers in the network.
